From the moment you walk into our chic Mosman boutique to the moment you walk down the aisle, we are here for you. At your first visit, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team and paired with a talented stylist. You’ll have access to view and try on a selection of stunning gowns from our wonderfully-vast and mindfully-curated collection, with our knowledgeable bridal consultants guiding you every step of the way. Our vision is to partner with you to find a dress that embodies your personality, the theme of the day, celebrates your figure, and enhances who you are as a person.

Our formidable range of gowns, with an impressive showcase of gowns ranging from sizes 10-24, have been selected from the very best of Australian and international designers — including Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, USA and Ukraine. To compliment your gown, we also carry a notable array of veils, jackets, headpieces, belts and bridal jewellery to finish your wedding day look.

STORE POLICIES

We ask that each bride brings a maximum of two guests to their appointment, this is to ensure our small boutique does not get overcrowded, and to get the most out of each appointment where our stylists can get as much one on one time with the bride as possible.

We do allow pictures and videos, and welcome facetime should you wish to include more people in your appointment.

We request that all customers make a booking before attending our boutique. This is to ensure there is a stylist available to assist you as well as a fitting area.

SAMPLE SALE

For brides with a weddings within the next month or two, we have a selected range of Sample gowns on offer. You are welcome to book your one-hour SAMPLE SALE GOWN appointment for these gowns.

Note: Sample sale gowns are gowns that have been used in store for brides to try when selecting a dress. We take great care of our gowns, but as they are not in 100% new condition, we offer them to brides at incredible reductions… from as little as $499! Please check out our Sample Sale tab, to view a taster of some of the gowns on offer.

Please book your appointment through the ‘Appointments’ tab, and select ‘Sample Sale Appointment’ as your appointment type. There is only one available sample of each style, so this event will be FIRST IN, BEST DRESSED!

BECOMING A MARRY ME BRIDE

The process

We invite brides-to-be to enjoy complimentary first and follow up appointments at our boutique. During these appointments, our stylist team will assist you in trying gowns you have selected to try, as well as providing you with some ‘wild card’ options based on your feedback and preferences throughout the appointment.

We recommend starting your search for a wedding gown at least 6 months prior to your wedding. Most production schedules are 4-6 months, and we do need to account for extra time to include shipping and alteration schedules.

Saying ‘YES’ to your dream dress

When finding your dream dress, there are a few steps we take to place an order with the designer;

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm the order with the designer.

  • Your measurements will be taken in order to select the closest size to your measurements

We order each gown to arrive approximately 2 months before the wedding or travel date (if the wedding is a destination wedding).

When saying YES to your dress, it is also a great time to secure a veil (especially if it is a detailed veil, as these can take a few months to arrive in store as they are made to order too).

What to expect when your gown arrives

Upon the arrival of your gown, the Marry Me team will be in touch to organise a ‘Gown try on appointment’. This is a great chance for our brides to try their dress in their size, with any customisations they may have opted for. We utilise this appointment prior to alterations, to discuss any alterations that may be required, as well as trying shoes, accessories and undergarments if especially selected. This is a great ‘dress rehearsal’ prior to starting the alterations appointments which are more ‘technical’.

Alterations commence 4 weeks before your wedding/ travel date. We have 3 contracted dressmakers whom we welcome you to use. They work out of our boutique multiple times a week and know our gowns extremely well. The first appointment with your dressmaker will include the pinning of your gown to ensure the length and fit. Your dressmaker will provide you with a separate quote for alterations, due at your final ‘pickup’ appointment. The final alterations appointment is generally scheduled 2 weeks after the first alterations. Each bride will try their dress with the dressmaker, and usually take their dresses home after this appointment. Shoes are required for both appointments to ensure the length is perfect!

The Marry Me Bridal team is beside you each step of the way, from searching for your dream dress, right up to your final alterations appointment! We take great pride in being available throughout the whole process, and love seeing our brides just before their big day!
